What it does

API key for the Anthropic Claude API, used by ACondor's news intelligence gate to classify news headlines and assess their impact on open positions. Without a valid key, the news gate cannot run and will log an authentication error. The news gate will not fire without this key configured.

When to change it

Set once when you enable the news gate. If you rotate your API key in the Anthropic console, update this field and restart the bot.

Safe range

Never share. Treat as a secret. Begins with 'sk-ant-'.

Example

Obtain at console.anthropic.com > API Keys > Create Key. Paste the full key value starting with 'sk-ant-' into the Anthropic API Key field on the Accounts tab.
