Mechanical Engine: Max Alloc %
What it does
Caps the fraction of your total allocation budget the mechanical engine may use across all its open positions. This ceiling is independent of the other engines; they do not need to sum to 100%. If the mechanical engine has already consumed this share of the cap, new mechanical entries are skipped until existing ones close.
When to change it
Lower it if you want to reserve more of the allocation budget for earnings, contraction, or directional entries. Raise it only if mechanical is your primary strategy and the other engines are disabled or rarely fire.
Safe range
30% (leaves more room for other engines) to 90% (mechanical-dominant book).
Example
Set to 70 → mechanical can use at most 70% of the $10,000 allocation cap ($7,000) regardless of how many slots remain.
