What it does
Fixed dollar cap on total deployed buying power. Used only when mode is set to fixed_dollars. When set alongside max_allocation_pct, whichever limit is lower wins. Useful for capping a large account at a fixed dollar amount regardless of NLV growth.
When to change it
Set this if you want a hard dollar ceiling regardless of account size. Leave unset to use pct-only mode.
Safe range
Any positive dollar value above your minimum position size. Setting too low means the bot never enters.
Example
$500,000 account, max_allocation_pct=10% would allow $50,000 deployed. Setting max_allocation_dollars=20000 caps it at $20,000 instead.
