Mechanical Profit Ladder Enabled

Setting key
mechanical_profit_ladder_enabled
Default
OFF

What it does

Scale-out toggle for the mechanical engine. When ON, replaces the single 50% profit target with a three-step ladder: close 25% of the position at 25% profit, close 50% of the remainder at 50% profit, close everything remaining at 75% profit. Reduces variance while leaving runners. Off by default pending live-fill validation.

When to change it

Turn ON after you have confirmed the bot's fill behavior on multi-leg exits in a live account. The ladder requires partial fills that are not reliably testable in sandbox.

Safe range

ON or OFF.

Example

2-contract iron condor. At 25% profit: close 1 contract (25% of 2). At 50% of remaining credit on the open contract: close half that. At 75%: close the rest.
