What it does
Minimum days to expiration for mechanical engine entries. The bot will not enter a mechanical iron condor in an expiration with fewer than this many DTE.
When to change it
Lowering below 30 means entering closer to expiration where gamma risk increases and the theta/gamma tradeoff degrades. Not recommended below 21.
Safe range
21 (aggressive) to 35 (conservative).
Example
Today is June 1. With min DTE of 30, the earliest expiration the bot will use is July 1 or later.
