What it does
Confidence floor for flag-only action. When opposing news hits 0.60-0.74 confidence, the bot logs a flag and surfaces it in the dashboard but takes no trade action. Flag-only signals let you see what the news gate is seeing without automated closes.
When to change it
Lower to 0.50 to flag more headlines. Raise to 0.70 to reduce dashboard noise from weaker signals.
Safe range
0.50 (noisy, many flags) to 0.70 (fewer, stronger-signal flags only).

Article about NVDA supply chain issues scores 0.63 confidence. Below the 0.75 reduce threshold. Flag logged: 'NVDA: opposing news confidence 0.63, monitoring'. No position change.
