What it does

The OAuth client secret for the live tastytrade API application. Required alongside the live refresh token to authenticate with tastytrade and place real orders. This is a live credential: it authenticates against the real brokerage API and enables order placement on your funded account.

When to change it

When you create a new live OAuth application or regenerate its client secret. Obtained at my.tastytrade.com under Manage > API Access > OAuth Applications. After updating, restart the bot session.

Safe range

Never share. Treat as a password. Paste the full string exactly as issued.

Example

At my.tastytrade.com, navigate to Manage > API Access > OAuth Applications, open your application, and copy the client secret. Paste it into the Live Client Secret field on the Accounts tab.
