What it does

The OAuth client secret for the tastytrade sandbox API application. Required alongside the sandbox refresh token to authenticate with the sandbox environment. Obtained from developer.tastytrade.com when you register your sandbox OAuth application. The sandbox client secret is entirely separate from the live client secret; they are issued by different portals and work with different API environments.

When to change it

When you create a new sandbox OAuth application or regenerate its client secret. After updating, restart the bot session for the new credentials to take effect.

Safe range

Never share. Treat as a password. Paste the full string exactly as issued.

Example

At developer.tastytrade.com, open your sandbox OAuth application and copy the client secret field. Paste it into the Sandbox Client Secret field on the Accounts tab.
