Reset Account History
What it does
Destructive action that clears all stored trade history, position records, P&L logs, and circuit breaker state for the account. This is a one-way operation: data cannot be recovered after a reset. The account will behave as if it was freshly configured. All running positions must be closed manually before resetting; the reset does not send any closing orders.
When to change it
Only use to start fresh after extensive sandbox testing or if you need to clear corrupted state. Never reset a live account with open positions.
Safe range
OFF at all times unless performing a deliberate history wipe.
Example
After completing sandbox validation, reset the sandbox account history before switching to live mode so accumulated paper-trade records do not affect live P&L reporting.
